We Need a Change

Why is it that every election we tend to see the best candidate as a wasted vote? Unfortunately, Ron Paul has somehow fallen into that category. We saw it with Ralph Nader as well. When I look around Austin I see more Ron Paul posters than for any other candidate. Why is it that he is losing? Are our votes not being counted correctly, we will most likely never know. Are the supporters of other candidates less vocal and therefore we see less signs of their voting preference.

This years election is an extremely important one. The past two elections we have made some poor voting choices and now we are faced with those consequences. The Patriot Act is one of the toughest ones to swallow. How can we as citizens sit back and allow them to take our rights away more and more everyday? Under The Patriot Act the government is actually allowed to come onto your property and seize you or your property without question. How is that freedom? We need a candidate who is willing to take a long hard look at The Patriot Act and correct it! We need a candidate who is not afraid to have a voice and who will not be paid off by large corporations making him their puppet. That candidate is Ron Paul. He stays true to his principles and will not be swayed. Money does not dictate what will come out of his mouth. We need someone who cares about people and not just the rich ones in this country.

Ron Paul is a candidate who knows and honors the Constitution. As a homeschooling parent I can really appreciate this. It is my constitutional right to teach my child and he says he will honor that and all of our other constitutional rights. I urge each and everyone to become informed about what is really happening in our world today and base your vote on that. For me it is clear Ron Paul is are only hope. He is for the people!
